These are exciting times at the Four Peaks Brewery. This
week we celebrated the return of two of our most beloved
friends. Of course I am referring to Indiana Jones in your
local theater and Leroy Brown in your local brewery! Their
stories are actually quite similar, let's examine:
Indiana Jones: A nonstop, high octane, adrenaline fueled
thrill ride; Leroy Brown: A pleasant, mild, dark roasted and
lightly kilned malt ride. Indiana Jones: Returns after an 18
year hiatus; Leroy Brown: Returns after what seems to be an 18
year hiatus. Indiana Jones: His first appearance is one of the
top 8 highest grossing movies of the 80's; Leroy Brown: His
first appearance was one of the first 8 offerings from Four
Peaks in the 90's. Indiana Jones: Named after George Lucas'
dog, "Indiana"; Leroy Brown: Named after the Jim Croce song,
"Leroy Brown". Indiana Jones: Created by the most talented
film team in Hollywood; Leroy Brown: Created by the most
talented brew team in the Southwest. Indiana Jones: First 3
adventures available in convenient box-set for at home
consumption; Leroy Brown: 64oz. available in convenient
growler size for at home consumption.
Like I said, truly exciting times! Just like your local
theater this summer, we are hitting you with one blockbuster
after another.
If space allowed I would inform you of how Iron Man's
origin was eerily similar to that of our first summer seasonal
Bonehead Red, or how the Hopsquatch Barleywine (to be
re-released this Sunday, June 1st!!!) and the new Batman movie
are shadowy reflections of each other.
Instead I will just tell you to strap in, it's going to be
a busy summer! Come early, come often! |

One last bit of housekeeping: After numerous complaints about
wafting smoke we have decided to stop all smoking on the patio until
10pm at both locations. We hope this will be amenable to all parties
but these smoking laws are so vague that we just had to throw our
arms up and give in. Thanks in advance for understanding our
predicament.
